Hand on Window Blinds

If there was one thing I could change about this photo, it would be to include either my dog or a person in the background to give it more context/storytelling. But this is what happens when you "document vs. create" (a Gary Vee philosophy I keep close to the chest).  I was leaving my room after using the bathroom so, you know, there wasn't time to shove my dog into the frame.

One Violet Crayon on the Ground

I saw this crayon on the ground and my first thought was, "Wow same," and then my immediate second thought was, "Oh shit, I should definitely snap a photo of this." Aaaand then I forgot about it for three weeks - until today.

Busy NYC Street

I have a love/hate relationship with this fucking city. You see, I grew up across the river in Jersey and so NYC has always been a huge part of my life. I've seen people move here and leave and do it all over again - with doe eyes. Meanwhile for me, this city has always been the cool big brother that you kinda hate and resent yet obviously love because, hey, it's family.

NYC Buildings Through Window

When I did my feature for Cosmo magazine, one of the requirements for the feature was that I had to go this fancy doctor's office down by the NYC Stock Exchange. This was the view from one of the windows. Heart eyes forever.

Black Wedding Ring, Male Hand On Steering Wheel

I always loved my husband's hands and now I have an excuse to photograph them obsessively. Being a photographer has its perks. Like hiding your weird quirks under the guise of art.

Vanilla Cupcake With Chocolate Frosting with Single Lit Candle

Baking is one of my passions and so I decided to bake some earlier this week and do a photo shoot. My father in law asked me if I was celebrating a birthday. Apparently it's weird to just make cupcakes with candles and take 100 photos of them for no reason at all.

Cross-Legged With Two Pairs of Sneakers

This photo was taken while my husband and myself waited for our IKEA bed frame. Fun fact: My husband bought me these kicks for my b-day this year and he got his Chucks for Christmas from his sister. Don't know why you'd want to know that, but there it is.

Farmland Country Road in Pennsylvania

Remember when I said a few posts back about Pennsylvania being nothing but a bunch of trees? Well, sometimes that's broken up by long winding roads and houses filled with, what I can only assume, is old white people.

Venice Beach on an Overcast Day

This was my first time at Venice Beach. It was the middle of the day and there was hardly anyone there (because it was chilly and about to rain, obvi).

Also, side note: but wtf are those lifeguard tower things called? I feel like it's not high enough to be that, but I also don't know much about anything, so I'm open to being wrong here. Let me know in the comments. Please. Help me.

Creek in a Forest

If you ever wondered wtf Pennsylvania looked like, well, this is pretty much it in a nutshell. Trees on trees on trees. Save for a few cities (like Philly and Pittsburgh, for example), this is basically the entirety of the Keystone State.

Groom and Bride (Holding a Yellow Bouquet)

Remember that beautiful 3-tiered wedding cake I posted a few posts back? This is the same couple, for the same wedding (obviously).
